PAUL’S EPISTLE TO THE EPHESIANS

Ephesians 4:8, "Wherefore, he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men."

The quotation seems to be made from memory. The psalmist (68:19 [68:18]) who addresses the Almighty, says, "Thou hast taken gifts from men," and not thou hast given gifts.
